The  class starting in September and November will made “Tsubakigata (Camellia form) Matcha Bowl” ,  “Hamagurigata (Clam form)  Bowl” and "Yutekitenmoku Sororihanaire (Oil-spot Tenmoku flower vase)"  as below.

The classes are basically conducted in Japanese.

Special Pottery Workshop "Creating an Ōido tea bowl" on May 10

This workshop will give you the experience of making  an "Ōido Tea Bowl". You can learn about the history of Tea Bowl while creating your own.

Ōido tea bowl
This famous tea bowl is said to symbolize “Wabi.”
Designated as a National Treasure, the “Kizaemon” is highly
regarded among extant Ōido tea bowls for its majestic and powerful
form.
In this session, we will attempt to create an “Ōido tea bowl,” a
masterpiece of Goryeo Tea Bowl.
