This free class is a ticket system where you can freely choose the date and time you want to reserve.

This is a 5-ticket class (3 months in duration). You can choose to create by handbuilding, or by potter's wheel, or by painting. We recommend this free class for participants who want to learn more than our pottery experience. For your first reservation, please let us know your 8 desired dates and times. Our staff will get back to you to confirm or cancel your reservation.

4月28日(日) GW特別企画「宇治でつくる」

「宇治でつくる」は朝日焼のいつもの体験より、地域のことを多く学ぶ「場」としての朝日焼体験を企画しております。とはいえ、難しいことをするわけではなく、小学生から参加可能な体験をご用意しております。もちろん、学びの「場」として、大人おひとりのご参加も大歓迎です。多くの世代が参加する「場」になれればという想いがございます。

4/28の第一回目は「宇治の陶土でつくる植木鉢」です。
この体験は土ひねりで制作します。

月14日（日） 宇治の月釜と陶芸ワークショップ

朝日焼の月釜（茶会）と同日に開催しております「宇治の月釜と陶芸体験」。名碗の写しの茶盌を作る特別体験がしばらく続きます。今回は朝日焼なのに黒茶盌に挑戦します。

黒茶碗（くろちゃわん）
千利休が侘数寄に適った茶碗として長次郎に作らせた黒茶碗。
今回は無作為の作為。黒茶碗に挑戦していただきます。黒茶盌の歴史を学びながら作る、通常より茶盌に対して学びの多い体験となります。
