Free classes that can be booked at any time. Ticket system of 5 times in 3 months. Two sessions are offered per day, in the morning and afternoon, so it can be completed in as short as 3 days. You can choose from a variety of glazes, including hand building, potter's wheel, and painting etc. Students from Osaka, Tokyo, and even overseas come to take the free classes to learn more about pottery. Those who find it difficult to attend " Weekly Class" and " Bi-weekly Class" may move to "Free Class". Participants must be able to attend five times in three months. This is a pottery class for newcomers to the ASAHIYAKI Pottery Class.You will be working with hand-building techniques. In our class, we offer a step-by-step programme to help you master the pottery skills, as many people find it difficult to work freely at first. The other classes once a week for full-scale learning have 11 sessions every 3 months. You can try first three of them in this class. Since you will be working in the same place as the students in the class once a week, you can understand our classes. In our class, we offer a step-by-step programme to help you master the pottery skills, as many people find it difficult to work freely at first. For these classes, the programme will be updated every 3 months. This is a slower schedule than the weekly class, and students will complete one piece of work at a time. Since the class is held two days a month, those who are a bit busy are recommended to take this class. Our original textbook is also available to help beginners to learn pottery in detail. Sunday, October 13

This workshop will give you the experience of making  Chawan "Gohon Tachitsuru Tea Bowl".
You can learn about the history of Chawan while creating your own.

"Gohon Tachitsuru Tea Bowl"
Based on the cranes painted by Tokugawa Iemitsu, the third shogun of the Edo Shogunate,
this semi-tubular tea bowl was commissioned to be made by the Pusan Kiln of the Joseon era.

The Nomura Art Museum, the Nezu Museum of Art, and the Kitamura Museum of Art also have tea bowls of the same type in their collections.

"Tachitsuru" means a standing crane.
This time, let's make Gohon tachitsuru tea bowl, which is also auspicious for the New Year.
