Slab building experience

A experience to complete your pottery work in one day. We prepare pottery clay from Uji. Slab building experience uses a mold and a sheet of clay (tatara). First, the staff will explain about the production process, and you will use the mold you have chosen to make a tea bowl or teacup. Compared to the electric wheel, this method is easier to control as it uses a mold. You will be able to create your original and lovely works. These works will be firing in the kiln by the staff.
