Limited Item / Asahiyaki Pottery Collection

A small tea bowl that you could use it daily. It is fired by the climbing kiln "Genyo". As for Matsubai glaze(pine ash glaze), we use glaze as a raw material by burning the red pine firewood used in the climbing kiln into ash after firing. It is a glaze that colors vividly in front of the kiln fire and on the shelf (high temperature place).
Each tea bowl has a different look, so classified into the Limited Collection.

Tea bowl / Kashibai glaze

The tea bowl by ASAHIYAKI Pottery collection, created by ASAHIYAKI craftsmen. Kashibai "Oak ash" is the glaze that produces slightly white-green color due to the iron content in the ash. These slightly smaller tea bowls are matched for the daily use.

Tea Tray

Tea tray produced by Mr. Satoshi Nagano, Nagano Works, who studied woodworking in Finland. It is made from Kalopanax septemlobus tree that inhabit only in Japan, and the more you use it, the taste of tree will gradually increase.

Tea Bowl Benikase

Tea bowl with the expression of "red deer spine dappled pattern " that is typical of Asahiyaki, made of Red clay which is excavated and selected from Shirakawa and Oriiyama in Uji. It features a dark gray and red complex gradation. Spots like the back of deer are also one of highlight.
