Cookies for Japanese tea
LovA Japanese restaurant in Uji sells delicious breads every Friday, with carefully selected ingredients. Fascinated by thire bread, I ask the chef to bake rice flour cookies specially suitable for Japanese green tea.
-Brown rice flour cookies-
This is made of pesticide-free brown rice flour harvested from the paddy field where the fireflies fly around at Taka, Hyogo prefecture. The ingredients are chocolate-like carobs, orange peels from Nino farm in Uwajima, Ehime pref. Also especially contains rosemary leaves from the garden of Asahiyaki shop and gallery.
The string tied up on the package is made by Showen Kumihimo in Uji. I hope you will reuse it in another situation. A tea leaf picked from Asahiyaki pottery is placed on the top of the package.
Hopefully take a pleasant tea time with this cookies.
