Tea cup with celadon glaze goes well with Uji Sencha tea. "Celadon" is an image of the "clear stream" of the Uji River.
The brewed color of Uji tea is very light, therefore shape becomes narrower toward the bottom, it is called the morning glory shape. Devised for identify color, it is unique to Uji regional tea cup.
