Tea cup with "Sakura" glaze. It is a glaze made to make you feel the cherry blossoms"Sakura" in the pink color. It is the newest color in ASAHIYAKI.
The brewed color of Uji tea is very light, therefore shape becomes narrower toward the bottom, it is called the morning glory shape. Devised for identify color, it is unique to Uji regional tea cup.
