Kaikado café original cup designed by Wani Nakagawa. The current shape was decided after repeated prototyping to ensure the smoothness to handle and mouth-feel when drinking coffee. This cup and saucer is filled with designs to make coffee drink delicious and pleasure.
The shape of the cup is slightly oval when it is viewed from above. After forming the cup round by wheel, just the upper part of the cup is oval-shaped. This design is for the smooth mouthfeel.Coffee cup for the Kaikado café.Whereas the original glaze is 'celadon', ASAHIYAKI uses 'geppaku glaze'. The 'geppaku glaze' in porcelain clay also produces expressive colours.
