A mug fired with Matsubai glaze (Pine ash glaze). The firing of the climbing kiln "Genyo" is characterized by complex colors. Akamatsu (Red Pine tree) firewood is used for firing the climbing kiln. The wood that has been burnt to ash by firing is used again as a glaze.
