Kaikado café original cup designed by Wani Nakagawa.　The current shape was decided after repeated prototyping to ensure the smoothness to handle and mouth-feel when drinking coffee. This cup and saucer is fully designed for drinking coffee in a delicious way.
The cup is slightly oval in shape, viewing from above. After forming the cup round by wheel, only the top of the cup is shaped oval. This is specially designed for mouthfeel. An original coffee cup produced for Kaikado café, with red "Shinsha" glaze seeping onto celadon. Only five sets are available at Kaikado Café.
