Natural feature and culture, birth from the Asahi Mountain.

Asahiyaki, a pottery that has been producing ceramics for approximately 400 years in Uji, Kyoto, famous for Japanese tea production area, will hold "ASAHIYAKI 423 Exhibition", which offers a futuristic experience of the roots of Asahiyaki pottery through VR goggles. Thereby we hope to provide an opportunity to connect Uji's tea culture to the next generation.

The exhibition will be held at Kosoji Temple, the first Soto Zen Buddhist center in Uji, which has been closely relationship with tea culture and Asahiyaki, and will display successive generations of Asahiyaki works.

Dates ː Wednesday, April 26 ~ Sunday, May 14, 2023

(until 20:30 during  May 3 to May 7)

Ticket: JPY1800  (including Koseiji entrance fee)
※Admission  Free for high school students and below
